Bishopthorpe is a beautiful, little village just outside York. Not far from York racecourse, its main claim to fame is the Bishopthorpe Palace, home to the Archbishop of York. It is handy for York Designer Outlet, York College and has excellent transport links to the City of York itself.

York has long been a centre for chocolate. The great chocolate names of Bettys, Rowntrees, Thorntons and Cravens have all been associated with the historic city of York. More recently we could add the names of Lush, Chocoate Hotel, Chocolate Heaven and Fudge Kitchen. Time move on but we all still love good chocolate.
